Aurora Bass 45-105 Red Reviews 4

Aurora strings is out of Bridgeport CT. They are known on the local scene for making crazy colored strings for bass and guitar. Plenty of different colors, gauges as well as you can build your own multi-color set on their website.

I was looking at a copy of Bass Player magazine and said, 'Hey cool, I want a set' I then went online and ordered some. They cost me $34.99 for the strings and I can't remember if I paid shipping or not.

Well I bought these strings because I had never scene or owned red strings before. They looked cool, but also sounded cool. I have probably about 4 months use so far and they are still going strong. I just used them today at band practice.

The strings' color has worn off in spots from them hitting the frets, no big deal, just remember nothing lasts forever, not even a cold November rain!

Nickel wound strings. Gauges 45-105. I like a thicker E-string myself vs. the standard 100 that comes in most sets.

Not just a gimmick but good sounding strings. A few people are making these, but I'm a regular player who has played ever string on the market and these play, feel and sound great.
